1990

Where it all started...

The company “Sani Kons Todorovi and Co.” Partnership was founded in the city of Pernik in 1990. Since its establishment the company began working in the field of food industry in particular – snacks production. For more than 26 years the company plays a key factor role in shaping and developing the Bulgarian snacks market. In 2000 the company launched on the market the products under the “Zayo Bayo” brand, which received briefly wide popularity and are successfully sold through the whole country.

1991

We have created our very first product - NIRA

1 year after establishment of the company in 1990 we have created our very first product "Nira". This name has it`s own symbolism because it means "part of god". Inside the transparent package was tasty wheat sticks only with salt. NIRA was one of the very first products of it`s kind in the country.

2000

The beginning of Zayo Bayo

9 years after Nira we have created our second product Zayo Bayo. The name comes from Bulgarian fairy tail character which basically is a little cute rabbit loved by all children by name Zayo Bayo. For a short period of time the product Zayo Bayo has became the most popular among all children and teens and it was available at almost every store in Bulgaria. We shall say it was a big breakthrough for our business.

2005

The trademark Zayo Bayo

In year 2005 the “Zayo Bayo” brand became a trademark of the Republic of Bulgaria in the corn and wheat sticks category.

2010

Widely known trade mark

Since 05.07.2010 with a decision of the Patent Office the“Zayo Bayo” brand has gained its popularity in all categories of goods and articles in the Republic of Bulgaria. In recent years the “Zayo Bayo” snacks are well sold beyond the borders of Bulgaria.

2013

Prestigious award from the national marketing conference WEBIT

2013 was a very important year for our establishment as a marketing leader in Bulgaria. After competition managed by National Marketing Conference WEBIT an award was given to our company for best viral marketing (social network marketing). Keep in mind that other nominees were Generali (International Insurance group), Interfoods (international food manufacturer), Globul (the biggest bulgarian mobile network operator) and Devin (biggest bulgarian mineral water manufacturer).

2013

460 000 Facebook firends!

2013 was marked by another major event for the company. Our Facebook fan page reached 460 000 likes and it was the third most popular fan page on Facebook after Dimirar Berbatov and Bulgarian page. A huge success for our marketing strategy which proved we were on the right track.
